Weeeeird dream

Wow...had a VERY weird dream last night. And the fact that I remember most of it is testament to that...

I was walking on a road down near my parents' house. I wanted to get home, but for some reason I only had that old iphone with no cell service so I couldn't get an Uber or make a call. I was walking up the street, looking for a wifi at any of the houses that wasn't locked so I could jump onto the network that way.

Didn't find it, kept walking, and when I looked up...I could see the New York skyline right in front of me. I was in NY, on the edge of the city. I keep walking, and there's two younger dudes next to me. One of them is bragging fairly loudly about how he hacks into phones and locks them, and forces people to pay him money to get access back in.

I look at my phone--which is now my normal phone--and it's got a lock screen saying I can't get in until I call a number. So I grab this guy and demand he unlock my phone. He refuses, so I beat the FUCK out of him. I mean, I pummeled him bloody until he finally did it.

The dream did one of those weird things where I'm somewhere else. I'm on a bus to New York for some reason. One of my friends was with me, but I'm not sure who. I think it might have been Ganz.

There's two young, twenty year old girls talking to us. One has short hair, the kind I really don't like, and for some reason she's sort of badgering me about my age, and then saying that she bets I won't fuck her. I go into the bathroom and fuck her, but it's not like a vivid dream where you do it in the dream, at least, I don't remember that.

I remember walking out of the bathroom pulling my shirt back on, and going back to my seat, and the girl came back smiling, and saying all sorts of nice things about me now. It was weird. I then texted Zig(for some reason) that the bus trip to NY was going weird, and that I'd just banged a girl less than half my age.

Like...what? No idea.

Saw that new Cap movie. Not good. Action scenes shot so poorly that it's a little embarrassing to see how bad Mackie is at fighting. I don't blame him--if the actor's not a good fighter, you either use a stuntman, or you use a combination of fast cuts and a moving camera to disguise it.

They didn't do that. You will be amazed at how many static shots there are DURING the fight scenes. Afterward I looked at what this director's done, and have no idea how he got this job. He's done a bunch of little dramas, and then he did that Cloverfield Paradox movie that was barely okay, but wasn't an action movie.

I'm not sure why they didn't do what they did with the Eternals director--it sounds like, since she wasn't an action or effects director, they had a 2nd unit shoot those scenes. The movie was a mess, but those sequences weren't embarrassing like in Cap.

The red Hulk was cool, but he's only in the last 10 minutes...

Last night the wife went to a concert with some of her friends, so me and the kid watched the 80's The Blob. Funny how I always notice shit in these movies that I didn't notice when last I saw them--and I saw this movie about 5 years ago...

Like, Jamison Newlander is in this. I don't ever remember noticing that before...

Anyway, the new Nflix price increase has me finally saying, enough. I don't use that service enough to justify it, and at some point, they need to get the message that they can't keep jacking up their prices, especially right after they just announced massive profits...

So am watching a few last things before it disappears for a few months. I'll come back after 3 or 4 months...
